Cooper Flagg did not play in the second half of the Dallas Mavericks’ 118-109 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night due to a sprained ankle.
Flagg suffered the injury while defending Peyton Watson with 6:01 left in the second quarter and was ruled out at halftime.
Flagg, who limped off the court, attempted to return to the game in the second quarter before leaving for good.
Daniel Gafford also left the game in the third quarter with a sprained ankle. Gafford initially sprain during training camp.
