Dante Exum and the Dallas Mavericks have agreed to a one-year deal. Exum considered offers from two other contending teams, but decided to remain with the Mavericks.
Exum was limited to only 20 games last season because of a fractured wrist and broken hand. Exum averaged 8.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 18.6 minutes.
The Mavericks also signed D’Angelo Russell to give the team depth in the backcourt while Kyrie Irving rehabilitates his torn ACL.
