The Dallas Mavericks are finalizing a training camp deal with Jeremiah Robinson-Earl. The Mavs will bring Robinson-Earl to camp on a non-guaranteed deal. Robinson-Earl will likely join the Texas Legends of the G League following the preseason.
Dallas currently has a full roster of 15 players for the regular season. The Mavs would have to waive or trade a player to fit Robinson-Earl into the regular season roster. Dallas is also approximately $1.3 million under their second-apron hard cap.
Robinson-Earl spent last season with the New Orleans Pelicans. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 6.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in 18.8 minutes per game for the Pelicans. Robinson-Earl has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder during his four-year NBA career.
