The Dallas Mavericks are open to moving players via trades ahead of the February 5 trade deadline. But Dallas isn’t going to give players away. Two players they’ve set high asking prices for are Naji Marshall and Max Christie.
The Mavs are looking for a first-round pick for Marshall. The asking price for Christie is likely similar, as Dallas prizes the young wing.
Marshall and Christie have made up the Mavericks starting backcourt in recent games. Marshall has averaged career-highs with 14.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. The sixth-year wing is shooting 54.5% from the floor on the season.
Christie has become the 3&D weapon the Mavericks hoped he would when they acquired him as part of the Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis swap. For the season, the 6-foot-5 wing has averaged a career-high 13.3 points on 48/45/86 shooting splits.
