Payton Tolle was named the Big 12 Pitcher and Big 12 Newcomer of the Year this season.
Several members of the TCU baseball team brought home Big 12 Conference honors, with left-hander Payton Tolle headlining the honorees for the 2024 season. The former Wichita State transfer was named the Big 12 Pitcher of the Year and the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year after a stellar regular season, where he posted a 7-3 record and a 2.96 ERA over 13 starts. Tolle struck out 116 batters over 76 innings and held opposing hitters to a .191 average. Tolle was one of two TCU athletes to earn All-Big 12 First Team honors for the 2024 season.

Left-hander Ben Abeldt also earned All-Big 12 First Team honors after making the All-Freshman Team during the 2023 season. Abeldt shined in a relief role this season, posting a 2-0 record and a 1.83 ERA with 45 strikeouts over 25 appearances and a .187 opposing batting average. Four TCU players including right-hander Zachary Cawyer, infielder Kurtis Byrne and outfielders Logan Maxwell and Sam Myers were named All-Big 12 Honorable Mentions this season. Sam Myers and Chase Brunson were All-Freshman Team winners.

TCU currently holds a 31-19 overall record and a 14-16 record in the Big 12 Conference. The Horned Frogs are the ninth seed for the conference tournament, which begins this afternoon with a game against the fourth-seeded West Virginia Mountaineers.
