The TCU Horned Frogs are less than 30 days from kicking off the 2025 football season with a nonconference road matchup against the North Carolina Tar Heels and new head coach Bill Belichick. As we count down the days until kickoff, we’ll highlight a former (or current) Horned Frog whose jersey number represents the number of days left until the opener.
28 – Millard Bradford (Defensive Back – 2019-23)
Bradford was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention twice during his five-year career with the Horned Frogs. The Helotes, Texas native played in 58 games and recorded 231 total tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 19 pass breakups, four interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries at TCU. Bradford, who played in all 12 games during his freshman season in 2019 and earned his first career start during the shortened COVID season in 2020, was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention at safety during the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
Bradford was invited to the 2024 NFL Combine in Indianapolis and signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent. Bradford played in three games during the 2024 season, posting three tackles. Bradford signed a futures contract in January, but was waived in May 2025.
