29 – Matthew Tucker (Running Back – 2009-12)
A four-year member of the Horned Frogs, Tucker played in 51 games and made 13 starts, nine of which came during the 2012 season. A consistent runner throughout his career with the Horned Frogs, Tucker averaged 5.3 yards yer carry and compiled 2,602 rushing yards while adding 33 touchdowns on the ground. As a receiver out of the backfield, Tucker caught 29 passes for 262 yards and one score. Tucker, who formed a tandem with fellow TCU running back Ed Wesley over the first three years of his career, was named an All-MWC Honorable Mention in 2011 and an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention as a senior in 2012.
A native of Tyler, Texas, Tucker signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 2013 and remained in the NFL until 2016. Tucker played for the Eagles from 2013-15, appearing in two games during the 2013 season. Tucker joined the New York Jets for a brief period in 2016.
