32 – Waymon James (Running Back – 2009-13)
A four-star recruit out of high school, James rushed for 1,798 yards and 16 touchdowns over his five years with the Horned Frogs. Hailing from Sherman, Texas, James was named an All-Mountain West Conference Honorable Mention in 2011, when he rushed for a career-best 875 yards and six touchdowns. Despite dealing with injuries throughout his time in Fort Worth, James played in 35 games and made 10 starts. James, who added 26 receptions for 274 yards and one touchdown as a Horned Frog, is one of the program’s all-time leaders in yards per carry at 6.4. As a redshirt freshman, James ran for 513 yards and five scores.
