
Former TCU running back Kenneth Davis was named a unanimous All-American during the 1984 season.

36 – Kenneth Davis (Running Back – 1982-85)
Davis was named a First-Team All-Southwest Conference player and a unanimous All-American during the 1984 season, when the Temple, Texas native ranked third in the nation with 1,611 rushing yards while adding 16 rushing touchdowns. Davis, who finished fifth in voting for the Heisman Trophy in 1984, concluded his TCU career with 2,994 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns before being picked by the Green Bay Packers with the 41st overall selection during the second round of the 1986 NFL Draft.
Davis played nine professional seasons, spending three seasons with the Packers before finishing his career with the Buffalo Bills. Davis played in 131 games and made 23 starts, rushing for 3,513 yards and 27 touchdowns. Davis, who was inducted into the TCU Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996, added 135 receptions for 878 yards and five touchdowns in the NFL.
