
Former TCU defensive lineman Roosevelt Collins moved to linebacker and was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 1992.

48 – Roosevelt Collins (Defensive Lineman – 1987-92)
Collins redshirted his first season at TCU before becoming a two-time All-Southwest Conference honoree at the defensive end position. A four-year letterman from 1988 to 1991, Collins compiled 271 total tackles, 30.5 tackles for loss and 18 sacks during his career with the Horned Frogs, earning All-SWC Second Team honors in 1989 and All-SWC First Team honors in 1991. Collins was selected for the TCU Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015.
Collins was selected in the sixth round of the 1992 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins. The Shreveport, Louisiana native, who played in 10 games during his rookie season, remained with the Dolphins in 1993 and made brief stints with the Dallas Cowboys in 1994 and the Denver Broncos in 1996. Collins’ professional career included time with the Sacramento Gold Miners and San Antonio Texas of the CFL.
