
TCU offensive lineman Patrick Morris was a three-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree and a William V. Campbell Trophy Semifinalist.
The TCU Horned Frogs are less than 100 days from kicking off the 2025 football season with a nonconference road matchup against the North Carolina Tar Heels and new head coach Bill Belichick. As we count down the days until kickoff, we’ll highlight a former (or current) Horned Frog whose jersey number represents the number of days left until the opener.

58 – Patrick Morris (Offensive Lineman – 2013-17)
A three-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree and a William V. Campbell Trophy Semifinalist during the 2017 season, Morris played in 34 games over his five-year career with the Horned Frogs. Morris earned starts at both guard and center at TCU, becoming a team captain and helping the Horned Frogs defeat Stanford during the Alamo Bowl in 2017. Despite being undrafted, Morris signed his first NFL contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018.
Morris went on to play professionally for the Steelers (2018-19), Denver Broncos (2019-20) and Tennessee Titans (2021), appearing in three NFL games. Morris currently serves as the running backs coach at Texas A&M Kingsville.
