Former #TCU wide receiver Reggie Harrell went for 1,812 yards and six touchdowns over three seasons.

The TCU Horned Frogs are less than 100 days from kicking off the 2025 football season with a nonconference road matchup against the North Carolina Tar Heels and new head coach Bill Belichick. As we count down the days until kickoff, we’ll highlight a former (or current) Horned Frog whose jersey number represents the number of days left until the opener.

81 – Reggie Harrell (2002-24)

Harrell went for 1,812 yards and six touchdowns over three seasons with the Horned Frogs. Born in Arlington, Texas, Harrell eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark during his junior campaign in 2003, finished his TCU career with 103 receptions over 33 games played. The first 1,000-yard receiver in Horned Frog history and a former All-Conference USA honoree, Harrell went undrafted in 2005, but spent time on practice squads with the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears. A big-play threat during his time in Fort Worth, Harrell averaged 17.6 yards per reception for his career and 18.6 yards per catch in 2004.
