
Former TCU tight end Cody McCarty caught 39 passes for 636 yards and four scores over his four years in Fort Worth.

84 – Cody McCarty (Tight End – 2001-04)
McCarty finished his collegiate career with 39 receptions for 636 yards and four touchdowns in 38 games. The Bishop, Texas native received an invitation to play in the 2005 Senior Bowl. McCarty, whose father Mickey played tight end for the Horned Frogs and was a fourth round pick in the 1968 NFL Draft, passed away from a heart attack at the age of 29 in 2011. McCarty was an All-Conference USA First Team selection as a senior, catching 17 passes for 321 yards and two touchdowns during the 2004 season.
