89 – Kyle Clifton (Linebacker – 1981-83)
A standout linebacker at TCU, Clifton was drafted in the third round by the New York Jets in 1984 and enjoyed a stellar NFL career. Clifton played 13 NFL seasons and appeared in 204 career games. Clifton holds the Jets franchise record of 1,484 total tackles and the former Horned Frog standout recorded at least 100 tackles in nine different seasons with the Jets. Clifton led the NFL in tackles three times and ended his professional career with 15 fumble recoveries, 13 forced fumbles, 12 interceptions and 5.5 sacks. Clifton started 149 games.
