The TCU Horned Frogs are less than 100 days from kicking off the 2025 football season with a nonconference road matchup against the North Carolina Tar Heels and new head coach Bill Belichick. As we count down the days until kickoff, we’ll highlight a former (or current) Horned Frog whose jersey number represents the number of days left until the opener.

99 – Braylon Broughton (Defensive End – 2008-11)
A four-year member of the Horned Frogs, Broughton recorded 45 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, five pass breakups, three sacks and two fumble recoveries during his collegiate career at TCU. The 6-foot-6, 272-pounder from Dallas was a key member of the defensive line during the 2011 season, when he posted 25 total tackles and six tackles for loss.

98 – Dylan Horton (Defensive End – 2020-22)
Horton transferred to TCU after starting his collegiate career at New Mexico. A fourth-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, Horton was a team captain and a huge contributor for the Horned Frogs during their run to the College Football Playoff National Championship, totaling 48 total tackles and a team-leading 10 sacks during the 2022 season. Horton was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention with the Horned Frogs.

97 – Tommy Blake (Defensive End – 2003-07)
Blake played five years of football for the Horned Frogs and was a weapon in the trenches, finishing his collegiate career with 155 total tackles, 44.5 tackles for loss and 23 sacks. Blake broke up seven passes, forced four fumbles and recovered two during his time at TCU. The 6-foot-3, 252-pounder helped lead the Horned Frogs to an 11-1 season in 2005 and an 11-2 season in 2006. Blake was a two-time All-MWC First Team honoree.

96 – Chucky Hunter (Defensive Tackle – 2011-14)
A fixture of the interior during TCU’s early Big 12 Conference days, Hunter became an immediate contributor in 2011 and turned in an excellent career for the Horned Frogs, finishing with 140 total tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss and nine sacks over four seasons. A three-time All-Big 12 Second Team winner, Hunter played in 50 games with 35 starts.
