The Horned Frogs add their first signal caller to the 2026 class.

2026 recruiting remained hot on Monday evening for the TCU Horned Frogs, who have secured a commitment from three-star The Woodlands quarterback Jack Daulton. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder holds offers from Tulane, UTSA, Rice and Incarnate Word. Daulton becomes the first quarterback commit and the eighth overall commit of the 2026 class for the Horned Frogs, who held the No. 30 ranked class in the nation before Daulton’s pledge.

I am truly blessed to announce my commitment to @TCUFootball! I want to thank my family, friends, and coaches for the support and guidance they have given me over the years! I am extremely excited for what the future has in store! #GoFrogs #CarterBoys26 pic.twitter.com/9jmJuAjgrG

Daulton threw for 1,312 yards and 18 touchdowns with five interceptions during his junior season in 2024, completing 73.4 percent of his passes. A dual-threat quarterback, Daulton rushed for 1,142 yards and 18 touchdowns while averaging 9.2 yards per carry in 2024. Daulton, who led The Woodlands to a 10-2 record and a Texas 6A D-I second-round playoff appearance, currently ranks as the No. 58 quarterback prospect in the nation for 2026, according to the 247Sports ratings system.
