Horned Frogs continue hot recruiting month, adding the versatile Argyle, TX TE
TCU Football is continuing its June recruiting hot streak, picking up a sixth commitment this month with 2026 Argyle, TX tight end Braden Bach selecting the Horned Frogs. Bach announced the decision on Saturday with a hat ceremony live via Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. Bach left the caps from fellow Big 12 programs Kansas & Kansas State on the table, donning the right shade of purple in the end.

Listed at 6-foot-5, 234 pounds, Bach ranks as the No. 59 tight end in the class, per the 247Composite ranking. Per MaxPreps statistics, Bach recorded 247 receiving yards on 26 catches with three touchdowns last season while also being a strong blocker, helping the Argyle Eagles earn a 13-2 overall record to reach the State Semifinal. With the addition of Bach, TCU now has 13 members in its 2026 recruiting class. The Horned Frogs currently have five tight ends on the roster, but with DJ Rogers & Chase Curtis entering their final year of eligibility, there could be room for Bach to step right into the depth chart in 2026. Sonny Dykes and the coaching staff continue to put an emphasis on keeping local products home in Fort Worth as all 13 of the Frogs’ commitments to date hail from Texas.
