
The Duncanville, TX WR brings productivity and elite track speed to the Horned Frogs
The summer recruiting heat wave continued for TCU Football on Sunday with the commitment announcement from three-star Duncanville, TX wide receiver Ace Theus. Ranked as the 80th wide receiver in the 2026 Class, the 5-foot-9, 170 pound speedster ranks as the No. 66 player in Texas per 247Sports. Theus held 24 reported offers and selected the Frogs over a Final Five that also included Arizona, Utah, Pitt, and Oregon State.
The addition marks the eighth commitment the Horned Frogs have received in June, bringing the class to 15 total members. TCU’s 2026 Class now ranks 40th overall nationally, good for fifth in the Big 12 currently.
Theus has been had a highly productive career thus far with Duncanville, amassing over 100 receptions for 1,694 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Panthers over the last two seasons while also returning kicks. A member of the record-breaking Duncanville track team, running the 100 meters and relay legs on 4×100 and 4×200
