Lewis was a three-star prospect in the Class of 2022, ranked by 247Sports as the No. 78 cornerback in the class when the Horned Frogs received his commitment over 23 other offers, including Texas, Kansas, West Virginia, and Colorado. Lewis missed the entirety of the 2022 campaign due to an injury during pre-season camp and participated in just two games during the 2023 season, making one total tackle in his career, maintaining his full four years of eligibility.
Lewis joins defensive lineman Damonic Williams in departing Fort Worth during the spring portal period. The spring transfer window opened up on April 16 and will continue through the end of the month. The Horned Frogs will host the Spring Game on Saturday April 27th at 2 PM to close spring practice. TCU will kick off the 2024 season at the Stanford Cardinal on Friday August 30.
