The Horned Frog running back will reunite with teammate Jared Wiley, who was drafted in the fourth round.
The 2024 NFL Draft concluded on Saturday afternoon with three TCU Horned Frogs including offensive lineman Brandon Coleman, tight end Jared Wiley and cornerback Josh Newton hearing their names called. The fun wasn’t over when the draft ended, however, as multiple TCU athletes signed with NFL teams as undrafted free agents. That includes running back Emani Bailey, who has reportedly signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Bailey shined in his two seasons with the Horned Frogs, rushing for 250 yards and two touchdowns while averaging 8.1 yards per carry as TCU’s No. 3 running back in 2022 before taking a massive step forward in 2023. Bailey earned an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2023 after rushing for a career-high 1,209 yards and eight touchdowns on 5.4 yards per carry. Bailey began his career at Louisiana-Lafayette, where he played two seasons and ran for 642 yards and eight touchdowns during the 2021 campaign. Bailey’s younger brother, Jordyn, was a member of TCU’s 2023 recruiting class and is in his second season at TCU.

Bailey will compete for a roster spot with the Chiefs, who drafted TCU tight end Jared Wiley in the fourth round. The 5-foot-9, 207-pounder joins a running back room that includes starter Isiah Pacheco, a former seventh-rounder, as well as former first-rounder Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
