College football’s spring transfer portal window opened on Wednesday and two TCU players will be leaving the program. Freshman offensive lineman Mitch Hodnett and freshman tight end Cole Snodgrass are both in the portal, according to recent updates from On3 and 247Sports. Hodnett and Snodgrass were both 2024 three-star recruits. Jeremy Clark of 247Sports was first to report Hodnett’s departure for the portal.

Hodnett was recruited by offensive line coach A.J. Ricker and signed with TCU over Houston, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and others. Snodgrass was recruited by former inside wide receivers coach Doug Meacham, who left over the offseason to become the new offensive coordinator at Oklahoma State under Mike Gundy. Snodgrass signed with the Horned Frogs over Purdue, Memphis, North Texas and others.
