TCU Football ends the 2023 campaign with a whimper
The 2023 TCU Football season has come to a close as the Horned Frogs suffered a blowout loss in Norman at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners. We break down the dud finish to the disappointing year, Pros: a better-late-than-never breakout from JoJo Earle, another terrific Emani Bailey game wasted, Jared Wiley shining in his collegiate finale; Cons: everything else. What changes will TCU make this offseason to bounce back in 2024?
Although Big 12 Week 13 delivered snoozers on Saturday, there were some wild rides on Saturday including a snow bowl Farmageddon and OK State earning a bid to Arlington with a wild 2OT comeback win.
Women’s Basketball took home the St. Pete Showcase trophy with wins over UTEP & Nebraska to move to 7-0 on the season.
Men’s Basketball also continued its win streak with an easy win over Alcorn State as JaKobe Coles, Emanuel Miller, and Micah Peavy continue to stand out in the starting lineup.
Volleyball went 1-1 on the week in Schollmaier, taking down High Point & falling to BYU. But the Frogs did enough to impress the NCAA Tournament selection committee, earning an at-large bid into the bracket and will take on 6-seed Florida State in Fayetteville, AR.
