Hailey Van Lith’s First TCU Team Photos Are Going Viral

For the second offseason in a row, Hailey Van Lith entered the transfer portal, this time settling at TCU.

After three standout seasons at Louisville, Van Lith transferred to LSU for the 2023-24 season. However, she failed to live up to lofty expectations in her lone season with the Tigers.

That put the former five-star recruit on the move once again this spring. Van Lith announced she was heading to TCU last month.

The 5-doot-7 guard shared some photos of herself in a Horned Frogs uniform on Instagram Monday afternoon.

Last season, Van Lith averaged 11.6 points, 3.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game, but struggled to adapt to her new role as a true point guard for LSU.

Though her time in Baton Rouge did not work out as planned, there don’t appear to be any hard feelings.

Van Lith is still working with former teammate Flau’jae Johnson on a new NIL deal, and LSU head coach Kim Mulkey wished her the best after news broke of her intention to transfer.

“Her aspirations were to get drafted this year,” Mulkey said of Van Lith at a team banquet following the season in April, according to NOLA.com. “And she realized, ‘I need another year and I need to go back to a place where I can relax and get back to my normal position. And what do you do? You hug her, and you wish her well.”
