Former TCU quarterback Max Duggan showed up fashionably late to the school’s basketball game against Kansas on Monday night.
Duggan literally pulled up to Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth in a tuxedo. And no, we’re not kidding.
The reason Duggan had a tuxedo on is because he accepted the Davey O’Brien award that same night. There was really no reason for him to change his outfit.
Besides, the sports world thought Duggan’s outfit was pretty cool.

TCU fans gave Duggan a standing ovation when he was shown on the video board.
Duggan just wrapped up an incredible season at TCU, throwing for 3,698 yards and 32 touchdowns. Although the Horned Frogs fell short of their ultimate goal, the program will never forget his contributions.
That being said, Duggan’s late-game appearance wasn’t enough to life TCU to a win over Kansas on Monday night.
