
The Horned Frogs add a 6-foot-11 junior from Cameroon to round out the frontcourt.
TCU men’s basketball rounded out its frontcourt with a commitment from former Florida International center Vianney Salatchoum. The 6-foot-11 center from Cameroon reportedly committed to the Horned Frogs on Wednesday and will bring both length and shot blocking to the TCU roster. Salatchoum averaged 10.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game while shooting 51.3 percent from the field and 44.4 percent on 3-pointers during the 2024-25 season. Salatchoum blocked 1.9 shots per game and started 28 games for FIU.

Salatchoum is the fifth transfer portal addition for the Horned Frogs, who have revamped their roster will new guards and wing players including Brock Harding (Iowa), Jayden Pierre (Providence), Liutauras Lelevicius (Oregon State) and Tanner Toolson (Utah Valley). During the 2024-25 season, Salatchoum earned All-CUSA Defensive Team honors for his ability to protect the basket. The Cameroonian center started his collegiate career at Panola College in Carthage, Texas, where he spent two seasons before transferring to FIU.
