Horned Frogs bring in a top portal PG
As the NCAA Tournament enters its second weekend, the college basketball transfer portal opened this week. TCU has seen guards Vasean Allette and Frankie Collins enter the portal with intention to depart Fort Worth, but the Horned Frogs have found its point guard for the 2025-26 campaign: former Iowa Hawkeye Brock Harding.

The Horned Frogs beat out a swarm of competitors for Harding’s services out of the portal, including Louisville and Washington in his final three. The pure PG from Moline, IL is entering his true junior season after playing 67 games in two seasons with the Hawkeyes. As the starting ballhandler for Iowa in 2024-25, Harding averaged 8.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game, shooting 39.8% on three-point attempts. A top 150 overall prospect nationally coming out of high school, Harding ranked as a 4-star transfer player and No. 13 PG in the portal per 247Sports.
