The star defensive lineman started every game in his two seasons as a Horned Frog
The college football transfer portal spring window opened this week and the Horned Frogs are set to suffer a major loss as star defensive lineman Damonic Williams is expected to transfer, per reporting by 247Sports.

Williams has started every game for the Frogs over his two seasons at TCU, including recording a sack in his debut in the 2022 season opener at Colorado as a 17-year old true freshman. A key piece of the team that completed an undefeated regular season and a trip to the National Championship, Williams was named a Freshman All-American in 2022 before earning All-Big 12 honorable mention for his sophomore campaign in Fort Worth.
As a Horned Frog, Williams posted 60 total tackles with 4.5 sacks and a forced fumble in 27 career starts on the interior defensive line. The Torrance, California native was a three-star recruit in the class of 2022, ranked as the 541st overall player nationally in the 247Sports Composite. He will certainly be one of the most sought-after players in this spring transfer window and leaves a massive hole on the Frogs’ defensive depth chart.
