On Wednesday afternoon, TCU guard Mike Miles Jr. announced that he’s declaring for the 2023 NBA Draft.

“To the entire TCU staff and community, the Flying T Club, and the best student section ever – thank you for embracing a kid from Highland Hills, and cheering him on for three years… much respect,” Miles wrote on Instagram. “To my teammates/brothers, we didn’t go where we wanted to go but we did what they thought we couldn’t do!

“After talks with my family and my coaches past and present, I have decided to declare for the 2023 NBA Draft.”

Miles has been a key contributor for the Horned Frogs for the past three seasons. He earned All-Big 12 honors in 2022 and 2023.

TCU finished this season with a 22-13 record in large part because of Miles’ production. The talented guard averaged 17.9 points and 2.7 assists per game.

Obviously, replacing a player like Miles won’t be easy for TCU’s basketball team.

Nonetheless, TCU fans will be supporting Miles’ journey to the NBA.
