Top JUCO transfer Trent Lincoln has committed to TCU, his agent told ZAGSBLOG. Lincoln is a 6-foot-3 guard from Baltimore and is averaging 19.7 points and 6.1 assists per game at Gulf Coast State College. The highly-coveted talent chose the Horned Frogs over Kansas, Oregon and Kansas State, among others.
Lincoln recently visited TCU in late December, right after visiting Kansas and ultimately decided to commit to play for Jamie Dixon and the Horned Frogs.
He is viewed as a high-ceiling prospect and is one of the nation’s most effective distributors. Lincoln has deep range from beyond the arc and consistently gets to the rim with ease. Scouts have called him explosive off the dribble and that he consistently uses his body to finish through contact and impact the game defensively.
Lincoln will have the opportunity to reclassify and join the team this semester, but it remains unclear if he will do so.
Otherwise, Lincoln will be TCU’s first commit in the class of 2026.
