The Horned Frogs add another talented guard via the portal
TCU Women’s Basketball continued its hot streak in the 2024 transfer portal on Monday with the commitment announcement from USC redshirt sophomore guard Taylor Bigby.

The 6-1 guard from Las Vegas was a four-star recruit in the Class of 2021, where she was twice named the Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year. ranking as the 12th best guard in the class and No. 29 overall prospect. Out of high school, she joined the Oregon Ducks, where current TCU head coach Mark Campbell had been an assistant during her recruitment before taking the Sacramento State head coaching position that offseason. Bigby spent that 2021-22 season on a Ducks team that also include future Horned Frog teammates Sedona Prince and Maddie Scherr.
Following that injury-shortened freshman campaign, Bigby transferred to Southern California where she would play in 65 total games during two seasons with the Trojans, with USC making consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament, including an Elite Eight run in 2024. This past season, Bigby averaged 4.8 points, 1.5 reounds, 1.1 assists while shooting 37% from three-point range on 20 minutes per game.
Bigby joins a Horned Frogs backcourt that features All-Big 12 Second Team honoree Madison Conner and returning starters Una Jovanovic and Agnes Emma-Nnopu in addition to inbound transfer Hailey Van Lith from LSU and Maddie Scherr from Kentucky.
