Longhorns named as a finalist for Atascocita offensive tackle Kam Dewberry.
Four star Atascocita (TX) offensive tackle Dewberry has announced that he has narrowed his list of schools down to five finalists.
Dewberry is the 9th ranked offensive tackle prospect in the country according to 247Sports and is the 97th ranked prospect overall.
The Longhorns have been on Dewberry’s trail dating back to his freshman year and they remain in the thick of it heading into the final stretch of his recruitment.
Even with the coaching staff change, the Longhorns have remained a constant for Dewberry, as Steve Sarkisian and offensive line coach Kyle Flood have been hard at work on the in-state elite.
There is going to be no shortage of competition for Dewberry’s commitment with Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M rounding out his group of finalists, so the Texas coaching staff will need to continue to plug away if they want to win out here.
