One of the nation’s best offensive linemen is set to decide on Friday.
The Fourth of July is officially primed for fireworks. There are several recruits set to decide in the coming days, but none bigger than five-star Mansfield (TX) Lake Ridge offensive tackle Felix Ojo.
Per On3’s Haye Fawcett, Ojo has officially set his decision date for July Fourth and the elite offensive tackle will be deciding between Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, and Texas on the holiday.

Ojo has been a longtime priority for the Texas staff and offensive line coach Kyle Flood and over time he became priority number one for the staff as he has been pegged to be the heir at left tackle once Trevor Goosby eventually departs for NFL Sundays.

Ojo is currently ranked number two amongst all offensive tackles in the country behind only Miami commit Jackson Cantwell, who is ranked as the number one overall recruit in the nation. Ojo comes in number seven overall amongst all prospects in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
This has also been a big boy recruitment given Ojo’s blue-chip status and the nation’s top programs have lined up to take their swings for his services. Texas has positioned itself well in this recruitment with how long they have prioritized Ojo, but can they get it through the finish line and get his commitment on Friday? We won’t have to wait much longer to find out.
