Sometimes, it’s better to be lucky than good. Kansas proved that on Saturday against Texas.
During the second quarter of action, Kansas quarterback Jason Bean fumbled the football on a 27-yard run. Luckily for the Jayhawks, the ball bounced right into the hands of Daniel Hishaw Jr. who was just a few yards away from Bean.
Hishaw managed to scoop up the fumble and carry it 18 yards into the end zone for a touchdown.

If Kansas is going to upset Texas on the road this Saturday, it’ll need lucky bounces like this – especially with star quarterback Jalon Daniels out. He was a last-minute scratch from the starting lineup.
The Jayhawks will also need Bean and Hishaw to carry their rushing attack. So far, they’ve been very productive on the ground.
