Plus: Texas just keeps on winning, y’all
American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings announced today that two members of the Texas Longhorns baseball program were among this year’s All-American honorees.
That includes Dylan Volantis, a lefty gunslinger who was also named the NCBWA Freshman Pitcher of the Year and SEC Freshman of the Year, and Ryan Galvan, a talented batter and catcher who was also named to the All-SEC First Team as well as an NCBWA All-American.
From Texas Athletics:
“[Volantis] totaled 74 strikeouts and issued just 12 walks across 51 innings across the program’s recently concluded season. [Galvan] slugged a team-best 15 homeruns.”
