The NFL Draft has come and gone, but something very interesting has caught the eye of NFL fans.
The University of Texas is known for producing a good amount of NFL talent but that changed in this draft class. No players from Texas were drafted.
The NFL world on social media still can’t believe it.
The Texas Longhorns have set the all-time record for lowest number of players selected in NFL Draft history.

– Blown biggest lead (21)
– Lost most games in a row (5) since 1956
– 1st time ever losing to Kansas at home
– 2nd time with no draft pick since 1938Happy to be done with this cursed season!

This will likely change in next year’s draft and for the foreseeable future. Running back Bijan Robinson is already projected to be a first-rounder heading into the 2023 NFL Draft.
Quarterback Quinn Ewers is slated to start this season, though he won’t be eligible for the draft until 2024. If he does pan out, he’ll likely be one of the top quarterbacks in that class.
The Longhorns are attempting to get back to where they were during their glory days. If they can do that, they’ll have plenty of players drafted by NFL teams.
