
Longhorns reload after tough tournament exit in 2024 and announce 2025 schedule in pursuit of a fifth national title
The Texas Longhorns volleyball announced their 2025 schedule, with the guidance of Head Coach Jerritt Elliott in his 24 year at the 40 acres is seeking his fourth national championship with the Longhorns after getting knocked out by Creighton in the 2024 NCAA DI Volleyball Tournament with the Longhorns finishing ranked No. 11 in the nation. Texas looks to improve on their 20-7 (overall), 13-3 (conference) record and make a run in the NCAA DI Volleyball tournament.
Longhorns to look out for that conducted on the court in 2024 are sophomore-middle blocker Ayden Ames with 88 blocks and 150 kills. Senior-libero Emma Halter with 344 digs and 109 aces. Senior-outside hitter Devin Kahahawai spiked 123 kills with 59 blocks and junior-setter Ella Swindle who served 265 aces.
The Longhorns are set to play the Utah Utes in an exhibition match on August 15 at 12 pm CT at Gregory Stadium.
