Following in the footsteps of former Texas standout Dylan Disu, a Pflugerville product, Presley is returning to the Lone Star State after spending one season in Nashville. The 6’6, 200-pounder has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
A San Marcos product, Presley was a consensus three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class who was ranked as the No. 179 player nationally and the No. 42 small forward, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Presley averaged 20.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.7 steals per game as a senior and signed with Vanderbilt over 12 other offers, including Arizona State, Houston, LSU, TCU, Texas, and Texas A&M.
At Vanderbilt, Presley played in 26 games with five starts, averaging 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds per game on 2-of-15 shooting from three and 14-of-30 shooting from the free-throw line.
Texas is now at 11 scholarships for the 2024-25 season with five additions from the NCAA transfer portal and two signees in the 2024 recruiting class.
