For the first time this season, FC Dallas looks to build a winning streak. Luchi Gonzalez has finally ended the club’s winless run on the road with a win last weekend in Kansas City and now the club looks to end another streak in Seattle (see the note below).
The Sounders are coming into this one a bit on a bad run of their own, losing two straight at home to Kansas City and San Jose. They’ll also have a League’s Cup match to prepare for in a few days following this one, so it will be interesting to see if there is any squad rotation in place.
FC Dallas notes:
Key player for FC Dallas – Bressan – He’s got to be a steady rock for the defense on Wednesday night against a really good Seattle attack. If he gives up any space or has a bad touch, the Sounders will make him pay for it.
History in Seattle – It has been a long, long time since FC Dallas got a win in Seattle. Dallas has just one win in 17 all-time visits to Seattle (D3 L13, including playoffs), a 1-0 victory in May 2011. Seattle is unbeaten in the 14 meetings since.
Two in a row away from home? – Dallas hasn’t won consecutive away matches since beating Toronto and the Galaxy away in May 2018.
Disciplinary Report
SUSPENSION: none
Injury Report

Seattle Sounders notes:
Rarely losing three straight – Seattle has lost back-to-back home matches after losing one of its previous 29 at Lumen Field (W21 D7, including playoffs). Seattle’s only three-match home losing streak in MLS came in May-July 2016, just weeks before the only coaching change in club history which saw Brian Schmetzer replace Sigi Schmid.
Who’s hot for SKC – Dániel Sallói has scored in each of his last four matches at Children’s Mercy Park, netting five goals in that time.
