The Dallas Cowboys will reportedly be down one-half of their running back tandem when they take on the Washington Football Team today.
Tony Pollard missed practice this week with a torn plantar fascia, and entered the day listed as questionable. Pollard had a pregame workout at FedEx Field a little while ago, but apparently he didn’t show enough to be active.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says Pollard will not play this afternoon.

Pollard has rushed for 602 yards and two touchdowns this season while also adding 31 receptions for 259 yards.
With Pollard out, Dallas’ backfield will look very different. Ezekiel Elliott will play, but the sixth-year veteran is dealing with his own knee issue. Veteran Corey Clement (nine carries, 20 yards) could be called upon to play a bigger role.
In addition, Dallas promoted undrafted rookie JaQuan Hardy from the practice squad on Saturday. Hardy has yet to appear in a game this season.
The Cowboys and Washington Football Team will kick off at 1 p.m. ET today on FOX.
