The Dallas Mavericks won the NBA lottery and that is insane.
The Dallas Cowboys picked up a talented new player last week when they traded for George Pickens, but if you are a fan of every sports team in the metroplex then the good news did not stop there.
On Monday night the Dallas Mavericks won the NBA lottery despite having only 1.8% odds to do so. This happened just a few months after the team traded away Luka Doncic and cast themselves into serious darkness as far as the Association as a whole was concerned.

But things can turn on a dime in the world of sports and that appears to have happened for the Mavericks. They are in all likelihood going to spend the number one overall pick on Duke forward Cooper Flagg.
