Where do you rank Tyron Smith in terms of all time Dallas Cowboys offensive linemen?

It was announced on Tuesday that Tyron Smith would be signing a one-day contract with the Dallas Cowboys and holding a press conference today (Wednesday for the tardy readers) to announce his retirement from the NFL. 14 years flew by, didn’t they.

It is always sobering when a franchise great calls it a career. Amazingly, this is the second time this offseason that we are dealing with this as Cowboys fans and we are only at mid-April.

Zack Martin was the first domino to fall in this regard as he said his goodbyes about a month ago. Smith’s retirement officially puts an NFL end to the trio that was the two of them and Travis Frederick. It is never easy to say goodbye to players who were so great and for so long.

With regards to Smith, where would you rank him among all-time Dallas Cowboys offensive linemen? Obviously he was not a part of a team that accomplished the game’s overall goal, but there is no question that he is near or at the very top of any kind of list.

For our Wednesday discussion we want to know, where does Tyron Smith rank for you in terms of offensive linemen in franchise history?
