Ceedee Lamb 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook

August 25, 2025 by Last Word On Pro Football

Ceedee Lamb is one of the best receivers in the NFL, and his 2024 season was a slight disappointment compared to expectations. With an offseason acquisition of George Pickens, is Ceedee Lamb still worth his lofty ADP? Let’s take a look at his history in fantasy football, his ADP, and see if you should draft him now.

Ceedee Lamb 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook

Ceedee Lamb Career History

Lamb was the WR8 in total points last season, and the WR9 in points per game. A lot of that can be attributed to losing Dak Prescott to missing over half the season. With a fully healthy Dak in 2023, Ceedee Lamb had one of the best fantasy seasons of all time. Prescott has a track record of injuries, but it seems like a series of unfortunate events rather than one recurring issue. Lamb has been a top ten fantasy receiver in each of the last three seasons, and has overall WR1 in his range of outcomes with a healthy quarterback.

So even when his quarterback is hurt and he’s catching passes from Ben Dinucci, Lamb has a fairly safe floor.

Ceedee Lamb 2025 Outlook

The Cowboys might throw it a million times this season. With an upgrade at WR2, the ghost of Javonte Williams or Miles Sanders at running back (at least while Jaydon Blue deals with an ankle injury), and a new head coach in Brian Schottenheimer. Schottenheimer has been the offensive coordinator for the Cowboys for the past two seasons. In those years, Dallas has been top three in pass attempts per game.

Press conferences say one thing, but personnel moves say another. The Cowboys are going to have to air it out this season, and if Prescott is healthy, Lamb is the unquestioned number one in this offense. Pickens is a boom/bust outside threat, but his presence will benefit Lamb. Defenses used to be able to hone in on Lamb due to the lack of weapons on offense, but now they will at least have to roll a safety to Pickens’ side to try to prevent the deep, highlight play touchdowns.

Ceedee Lamb 2025 ADP

Lamb is going off the board right in the middle of the first round. Christian McCaffrey, Justin Jefferson, and all the usual suspects at the top are in the same range. Depending on how many wide receivers and running backs your league needs each week, Lamb may get a bump or drop a little, especially in superflex leagues.

Should I Draft Ceedee Lamb in 2025 Fantasy Football

He’s one of Breno Venturi’s favorite targets in the 2025 draft guide and is a cornerstone wide receiver to build around. Other receivers have a fairly wide range of outcomes. Whether it’s Brian Thomas Jr. competing with Travis Hunter and still building his rapport with Trevor Lawrence or Malik Nabers adjusting to Russell Wilson’s new style, Lamb has the most experience with his current situation. Because of the pass volume, security, and still the possibility of a WR1 season, Lamb is a great choice in the early or middle of the first round for most fantasy drafts.
