The final injury report for the Cowboys and Patriots is an important one.
The final injury report is in for the Dallas Cowboys as they prepare to take on the New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon. The Cowboys have some questions around some of their best players this week including cornerback Trevon Diggs and left tackle Tyron Smith, who are both listed as questionable for the game. If you believe Jerry Jones, both should be good to go on Sunday.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan said LT Tyron Smith (neck) and CB Trevon Diggs (ankle) both will be “ready to go” Sunday at Patriots. “They’ll be ready to play.”

Stephen Jones, too.
Stephen Jones reiterates on @1053thefan just now that he feels good that both Tyron Smith & Trevon Diggs will be able to play Sunday in Foxborough.

The Cowboys are “officially” a little more cautious about Diggs.
Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs (ankle) is considered a game-time decision. Coach Mike McCarthy said that Britt Brown, the team’s director of rehabilitation, will continue to work with Diggs today. McCarthy praised Brown for his return-to-play work with players.

Here is what Diggs had to say about his injury.
Trevon Diggs on his right ankle injury: “I feel good. I’m still taking it day by day, just going to see how I feel.” He added, “Yeah I mean you’re going to get little nicks and bruises. It’s nothing for real. It is what is.”

But the MRI on Tyron Smith was fine according to the Cowboys.
Cowboys announce MRI on Tyron Smith came out well. Trevon Diggs (ankle) is a game-time decision.

The Cowboys don’t actually practice on Fridays so their estimation of what a player would have done is all we get, but we do get the official designations for the game.
We already knew that Dorance Armstrong wouldn’t go based on his practice patterns this week and the previous weeks, he is officially out. Both Ezekiel Elliott and Randy Gregory have been limited in practice, and even though they are listed as questionable they should be ready. Additionally, safeties Damontae Kazee and Donovan Wilson are questionable, although Kazee stated earlier in the week he should be able to play.
Tyron Smith & Trevon Diggs officially considered questionable heading into Sunday, as Mike McCarthy said. Cowboys optimistic both will be available.
Damontae Kazee also upgraded to limited. He said yesterday he’d be alright. pic.twitter.com/e8dboQquog
