Jerry Jones is a businessman at heart, and the Dallas Cowboys owner apparently is set to have some news on the business side this week.
According to USA TODAY Cowboys reporter Jori Epstein, the team will host a “major business announcement press conference” this Wednesday featuring Jones and “special VIP guests.”
Epstein asked her followers to guess what this announcement might entail, and some of the “hypotheticals” are pretty interesting, ranging from something Wrestlemania-related to new sponsorships to Jerry firing his son.

We’ll find out soon enough what the Cowboys have planned. In the meantime, let’s take a look back at Jerry Jones’ quote from last month about some of the negative attention his team had been getting.
“When you spend 30-something years saying, ‘Look at us. Hey, wait, wait, you’re looking away… We’re the Cowboys. Look at us.’ When it’s been that way, then when you have some things you might not want to look at, you get looked at. That’s good,” Jones said.
All press is good press for Jerry, so it’s no surprise he’s teasing whatever Wednesday’s announcement is.
