The Cowboys are embarking on their longest training camp stay in Oxnard yet, providing fans with numerous opportunities to catch the team in action. With over a dozen open practices scheduled and exciting events like a scrimmage against the Rams, this summer promises to be packed with football excitement before the team returns to Frisco for their final preparations.

Despite a tumultuous legal battle and an extortion lawsuit of his own, Judge Angela Tucker’s ruling marked a pivotal moment for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, setting the stage for potential repercussions against his accuser and her legal team. On the field, Dallas should have eyes on the interior of the Cowboys defensive line in 2024. If the results aren’t favorable, there are a handful of college defensive tackles that could interest Dallas come 2025.

The Mothership is highlighting 25 players new to the team, including hometown linebacker Byron Vaughn whose journey reflects resilience and adaptability. Concerns linger about weaknesses at the running back position and the reliance on rookie offensive linemen pushes Dallas just out of ESPN’s top-five rosters in the NFL. Elsewhere, with key veterans departed, defensive end Sam Williams is poised to step up and prove himself in a revamped defensive scheme under new coordinator Mike Zimmer, aiming to establish his place in the team’s future plans and elevate his career trajectory. Cowboys news and notes will finish with DraftKings Sportsbook’s betting odds for defensive end Micah Parsons. Will this be the year he finally ascends to the pinnacle of NFL defensive excellence, or will another challenger emerge to steal the spotlight?
