Football is officially back! The Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers will square off tonight in the Hall of Fame Game.
Dallas and Pittsburgh were supposed to face each other in last year’s Hall of Fame Game, but the NFL decided to cancel its entire preseason due to COVID-19 concerns.
Now that NFL teams have a better handle on COVID-19, preseason football is making its glorious return. Fans will be in attendance at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio for tonight’s Cowboys-Steelers game.
Unfortunately, Ben Roethlisberger and Dak Prescott will not be playing tonight. The former is entering his 18th season and doesn’t really need the extra reps, whereas the latter is dealing with a shoulder strain.
Since we won’t be seeing Roethlisberger in action, the NFL world should get an extended look at Dwayne Haskins tonight. He signed a one-year deal with the Steelers after being released by the Washington Football Team.
The Cowboys, meanwhile, will most likely allow Ben DiNucci, Garrett Gilbert and Cooper Rush to receive snaps under center tonight.

Additionally, NFL fans will get an early look at the Cowboys and Steelers’ 2021 draft picks. Micah Parsons and Najee Harris were the top draft picks for their respective teams.
Kickoff for tonight’s showdown between the Cowboys and Steelers is at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
