Dak Prescott Caught Dancing At Wedding Amid Concerns Over Ankle Injury

July 12, 2024 by The Spun

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott made headlines on the Fourth of July because a photo of him wearing a walking boot surfaced on social media. That caused fans to panic about his status for the 2024 season.

Fast forward to this week, and Prescott is trending yet again but for a different reason.

Prescott was recently at Tyron Smith’s wedding. In a brief video that made its way to social media, he went from a quarterback to a dancer in record time.

This video of Prescott was shared on TikTok by a Dallas photographer under the account name of “GThomasPhotos.” The post already has over 100,000 views.

Judging by Prescott’s dance moves, we’d say his ankle injury has healed quite well. To be fair, he already admit that he’s fine.

“Honestly, I’m getting older. It was the same ankle that I snapped and had a nasty surgery on four years ago, so yeah a couple hard days of training, you get a little sore,” Prescott said at his football camp. “Then, you’re going on a fishing trip, and you want to protect it and make sure things don’t get worse. Literally, it is absolutely nothing. People are reaching, trying to make things that they aren’t. I’m getting older, have to take care of my body. I have to be smart, and if I can take precautions and lessen something by putting on a boot, I’m going to do it. Sorry that I caused such a whirlwind.”

If Prescott stays healthy, he’ll break the bank this summer. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport wouldn’t be surprised if the veteran signal-caller makes over $60 million per year.
