Dak Prescott Reveals Reason For Wearing Walking Boot On Right Foot

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been wearing a walking boot recently but promises that it’s nothing to worry about.

He was asked about it by the media at his Football Procamp and said that there is “absolutely nothing” wrong with his ankle.

“Honestly, I’m getting older,” Prescott said. “It’s the same ankle that I snapped and had a nasty surgery on four years ago so, a couple of hard days of training, you get a little sore and then you’re going on a fishing trip and you wanna protect it and make sure things don’t get worse so literally, it’s absolutely nothing.”

Cowboys fans can hopefully breathe a sigh of relief since they don’t want to see their quarterback hurt before or during the 2024 season.

Prescott is coming off his best individual season in 2023, finishing with 4,516 yards through the air, 36 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

He’s entering the final year of his contract and has yet to sign an extension with the team. The Cowboys are hoping to lock him up before he becomes a free agent next March.

The Cowboys will open the 2024 season on September 8 against the Cleveland Browns. Kickoff will be at 4:25 p.m. ET.
