Just last week photos of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott emerged and had fans very worried.
The photos, which surfaced on the Fourth of July, showed the star quarterback in a walking boot. Naturally, Cowboys fans were concerned about Prescott, but he made it clear it was just a precautionary measure.
“Honestly, I’m getting older,” Prescott said. “It’s the same ankle that I snapped and had a nasty surgery on four years ago so, a couple of hard days of training, you get a little sore and then you’re going on a fishing trip and you wanna protect it and make sure things don’t get worse so literally, it’s absolutely nothing.”
While Prescott was in a boot, it didn’t take away from the family vacation he had with his family and the family of his girlfriend, Sarah Ramos.
“Cabo with my beautiful family,” she posted on social media this week.

While he’s been on vacation, Prescott has been involved in contract talks with the Cowboys. While they haven’t agreed to anything just yet, he’s not concerned.
“There’s been conversations back and forth. But for the most part, I’m gonna let my agent do that, especially as we get right here into training camp,” Prescott said. “Day one of training camp, my mind flips to obviously helping my team and doing everything I can within the organization and on the football field to make sure I’m my best and everyone around me is their best. The money and all that will take care of itself, as it always has.”
Hopefully Dak is feeling 100% for the start of the season.
