Earlier: The Jacksonville Jaguars are interested in Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, but is the feeling mutual?
It doesn’t appear to be, based off the latest intel from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Quinn reportedly won’t interview with Jacksonville during the two-week period when head coaching candidates can speak with teams before the end of the regular season.
While this doesn’t necessarily mean Quinn would be against speaking with Jacksonville at all, at the very least, he’s not in a rush to do so. More likely, he’s fine with passing on the opportunity to possibly work for the struggling franchise.
Cowboys’ DC Dan Quinn will not interview with the Jaguars for their HC job during the two-week window in which HC interviews are allowed, per source. Jaguars requested permission to interview Quinn earlier this week.

The Jaguars are trying to find their next head coach after Urban Meyer’s tenure was cut short after less than one full season. Currently, Jacksonville is 2-13 and in line for the No. 1 overall pick.
The Jaguars have reportedly asked to speak with Quinn, Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, Bucs offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich and Bucs defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.
Jacksonville also reportedly scheduled an interview with former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson for tomorrow.
Update: As it turns out, Quinn has not turned Jacksonville down outright, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
For clarity: #Cowboys DC Dan Quinn didn’t decline an interview for the #Jaguars’ head coaching job, per source. He wants to get through the regular season before doing any interviews, which is how the hiring cycle has worked in past years and will for most candidates this year.

We’ll see what winds up happening with Quinn when all is said and done.
